With students all over the globe heading off campus for Spring Break, we think a few of those from RedShelf caught the spring fever, too! We decided to share some of the travels our RedShelf employees have taken as part of their version of Spring Break!
The first RedShelf-er to head out on a spring vacation was Katie, our Marketing Manager. Katie had the opportunity to visit Madrid, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal. Her travels included trying all types of foods (and lots of cheese), catching up on her Spanish-speaking skills, climbing to great heights to check out gorgeous views, and eating delicious pastries with the locals!
Tom Scotty, RedShelf's COO, was the second to head out for a Spring Break vacation with both immediate and extended family members to Durango, CO. Spending break with his children, wife, and other close family members in Durango is a bit of a tradition! What were some highlights of his vacation? Well boarding down the mountains with his kids and going on an incredible hike with his daughter! Check out those amazing views!
Terry, our Senior Software Engineer, headed for the warmth for his spring break with wife, Jasmine. While the vacation proved to be rather relaxing, a few of their favorite things were taking long walks along the beach and going on an ATV off-roading excursion through the desert. Needless to say, they will definitely be back!
Another across the universe trip! Scott, RedShelf's Chief Technology Officer, Kyle, Regional Sales Manager, and Shannon, the Director of Sales and Marketing, all embarked on the trip of a lifetime to Thailand! Some of their favorite adventures thus far have been exploring the floating markets in Bangkok , visiting the Grand Palace in Bangkok, Thailand, and participating in the week of Songkran (starting with a water fight)!
Gordon, another one of our Regional Sales Managers, spent his break in North Daytona, Florida with family. And like any avid golf-player, Gordon was found on the course everyday of his break getting some practice in before he is able to golf in Chicago! He spent the rest of his days bar-be-queing by the pool with family and fishing (minus the catching part).
For a quick weekend getaway, our CEO Greg Fenton and brother Adam Fenton, a Regional Account Manager at RedShelf, sailed off to Key West, Florida with other family members. When the Fenton brothers are on vacation, you can bet they are spending most of their days on the water with a fishing pole in hand!
Although RedShelf's employees have the ability to take these awesome trips, they can be sure to answer plenty of questions about the unique things they may have done or saw while away! With a "play hard, work harder" attitude, us RedShelf-ers are continuously pushing forward to bring our users the best eTextbook experience!
