As one of RedShelf’s first publisher partners, University Science Books was a bit skeptical about diving into the transition to digital. Knowing that the digital trend was becoming increasingly popular, especially among students, University Science decided to make the move and so began RedShelf’s partnership with University Science Books.
“Already working with companies such as CourseSmart and KNO, the relationship established with RedShelf was a much more personable effort from the entire team,” Kathy Armbruster, owner of University Science Books, states when talking about University Science Books’ partnership with RedShelf. “The team put in a lot of effort to make it an easy transition; which not every digital company does.”
Some fear the process of going digital because it can be challenging. For University Science Books, this was one of the difficulties it faced through this transition. With RedShelf as a devoted partner, the process of transitioning the print textbooks into a digital format was made possible with ease for University Science Books.
As a publisher, University Science Books is unique to this industry. Being a publisher with a specific niche, it allows University Science Books to put a heavy emphasis on the relationships developed in all parts of the business.
“As a smaller company, we can put a forth a bigger effort towards the quality of our production and focus on the authors we work with. Also, we can be more selective in our process of which books we choose to publish as well,” Armbruster stated. Another unique quality that University Science Books prides itself on is the ability to offer low and affordable prices for students while remaining competitive.
RedShelf is proud to have over 70 titles of University Science Books in our digital format! Check out a sample of one of the books here.
