Most of the RedShelf Team will be taking off this Friday to attend CAMEX 2015 in Atlanta, GA! For many years, CAMEX has upheld the tradition of being the campus retailing industry’s meeting place. Many of the volunteers and staff members of the National Association of College Stores (NACS) have worked generously to create and grow this leading industry event.
CAMEX continues its legacy as the industry’s largest trade show and educational event. It attracts more than 2,100 qualified buyers from more than 1,060 campus stores and introduces 750+ exhibiting companies--like RedShelf!
RedShelf will be an active participant in the tradeshow at this year’s CAMEX, among other vendors ranging from apparel to pencils. The tradeshow features items in more than 90 product categories that is targeted for the campus student consumer.
Will you be attending CAMEX this year? RedShelf will be presenting at two different educational sessions surrounding the idea of utilizing digital. Here is a brief summary of each session:
Turning YOUR Bookstore into a Self-publishing Hub for Faculty
Friday, February 20th from 1:15pm – 2:15pm
Guy Adams from UCLA, Tony Glaab from Grand Valley State University and Shannon Godfrey from RedShelf will be presenting on ways bookstores can increase adoption rates and value by self-publishing faculty-created materials. Shannon will be diving into the value of digitally published materials and how analytics play an important role in understanding student engagement. Guy and Tony will provide real case studies and examples of how their stores have turned into resources for self-publishing content for faculty.
eTextbooks—New Trends and Sales Opportunities while Meeting Students’ Expectations
Saturday, February 21st from 1:00pm – 2:00pm
Both Tom Scotty and Shannon Godfrey of RedShelf will spark your curiosity to visually see how students interact with digital. During this presentation, Tom and Shannon will be diving into trends and analytics based on student usage with digital content.
What will you gain by attending this presentation? By integrating with digital platforms, bookstores can enhance a student’s learning environment. At this presentation, there will be conversations around tips and advice from other bookstores who have integrated digital into their stores.
How else will RedShelf be participating in this year’s CAMEX?
